What is CAIE?

A Cambridge Assessment International Education qualification is a recognized university in the world. It gives students a wide range of options to choose from for their education and career.  It is an organization that dispenses its resources to provide quality programs to unlock the student’s potential.

Various levels of CAIE that we have and subjects offered in each level

Cambridge Primary: Suited for learners aged 5 to 11 years. It develops learner skills and understanding through the primary years in English as a first or Second language, Science, Cambridge global perspective, Mathematics, and ICT.

Cambridge Lower Secondary:  Also known as Cambridge Checkpoint is for children between 11-14 years. It offers subjects like English, science, and mathematics for the first three years of secondary education. It develops their skills and understanding of overall concepts which are necessary for laying the foundation for complex concepts at the next levels.

Cambridge Upper Secondary: This course offers students two routes— one the Cambridge IGCSE and one Cambridge O Level, befitting learners aged 14 – 16 years.

  • What can I study after CAIE?

There are basically two paths ways after CAIE—you can either go for a Diploma course or a Pre – University course of your choice.

  • Do Universities accept CAIE?

Almost every University you would want to apply who would accept CAIE programs like Harvard College, Cornell University, and Boston University. Some Indian universities like The Medical Council of India and the Association of Indian Universities also accept this program.

  • What is the next step after CAIE?

After CAIE, a student is eligible for any 10+2 level qualification like Local Boards of Class 12 CBSE/ ISC /HSC. Or International pre-university programs like IBDP and AS/A levels (UK). 

  • Is CAIE good for Indian students? 

It is the best option for students who want to pursue future studies abroad. They follow a structure that encourages knowledge-oriented learning.

  • What subjects should you take if you want to pursue Engineering and Medical?

Physics, Chemistry, and Math at a higher level are recommended for students interested in Engineering, either in India or overseas.

Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are required for studying medicine in India. Whereas, studying medicine in the UK requires two higher-level sciences. Medicine in the US and Canada is a postgraduate degree.

  • What are the benefits of learning languages in the CAIE program?

Languages play a very important role in a student’s life. CAIE program offers students complete knowledge about a language through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. With the help of language, students connect themselves with the digital world. Here we will learn how to write blogs, speeches, reports, articles, advertisements, etc., which help the students to explore their careers at an early age.

  • How is CAIE different from CBSE?

CBSE focuses on learning the subject, and its approach is purely theoretical. The syllabus is quite demanding, in the sense, its approach is focused on the application of applied knowledge.

  • If I pursue PUC after CAIE, then why should I take CAIE?

The answer to that question lies in a simple explanation. In CAIE, subjects like Additional Mathematics cover 70% syllabus of PUC. Just to give an insight into the topics it covers, we have:

  1.   Circular measures
  2.   Trigonometric functions and equations.
  3.   Permutation and combination.
  4.   Binomial theorem.
  5.   Differentiation and its application.
  6.   Integration.
  7.   Kinematics.

In addition to Mathematics, Science subjects incorporate multiple-choice question papers. This practice enables the students to solve application-based MCQs and prepares them to appear for JEE and NEET confidently.

It was an education cum recreation trip – discovering places and meeting people; knowing the history and culture, and its contribution to the world was something that our students would never forget.
