🎯 OBJECTIVES

The main objective of the CIE Boys Inter-House Basketball Competition 2026–27 was to provide students of Classes VI–X with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop their basketball skills, physical fitness, teamwork, coordination, discipline, leadership and competitive spirit. The competition was also organized to encourage healthy competition among the four houses, promote sportsmanship and team spirit, and identify and recognize students who demonstrated outstanding performance, commitment and potential in basketball.

The third-position team showed enthusiasm, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the competition and demonstrated a positive attitude towards competitive sport.

🏆 HOUSE CHAMPIONSHIP OUTCOME

The overall Inter-House Basketball standings were recorded as follows:

🥇 I – VINOBHA HOUSE

Vinobha House demonstrated the strongest overall performance and secured the Championship Title, displaying excellent teamwork, coordination, discipline and competitive spirit.

🥈 II – RAMAN HOUSE

Raman House produced a strong performance throughout the competition and secured the Runner-Up Position through consistent effort and determination.

🥉 III – TAGORE HOUSE

Tagore House secured Third Position, reflecting a competitive performance and commendable participation throughout the event.

IV – GANDHI HOUSE

Gandhi House secured Fourth Position after participating actively in the competition and demonstrating enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

The Inter-House Basketball Competition provided students with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate:

📝 CONCLUSION

The CIE Boys Inter-House Basketball Competition 2026–27 was successfully conducted on 01 August 2026, providing an excellent platform for students of Classes VI–X to showcase their basketball abilities and develop important sporting qualities such as teamwork, discipline, leadership, coordination, confidence, determination and sportsmanship.

The competition was marked by enthusiastic participation and healthy competition among the four houses. Vinobha House emerged as the Overall Champion, followed by Raman House, Tagore House and Gandhi House. The achievements and participation of all the students are highly commendable, reflecting their dedication, teamwork and competitive spirit.

The event also demonstrated the school's continued commitment to promoting sports and physical education alongside academic development, contributing to the holistic growth of students and encouraging them to pursue excellence both on and off the court.
