INTRODUCTION
The Inter-House Basketball Competition for CIE Girls (Classes VI–X) was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education on 18 July 2026 (Saturday) as part of the school's Inter-House Sports and Games Programme for the academic year 2026–27.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses:
Tagore House
Gandhi House
Vinobha House
Raman House
The primary objective of the competition was to promote physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, discipline, confidence, sportsmanship, and strategic thinking among students. The event also aimed to strengthen basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, communication, coordination, and tactical awareness.
Students from Classes VI to X displayed remarkable enthusiasm, determination, and discipline throughout the championship. The matches were highly competitive and reflected excellent teamwork, agility, ball control, passing accuracy, shooting precision, defensive coordination, and sportsmanship.
The tournament provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their sporting talent while fostering the values of unity, perseverance, leadership, respect, and fair play.

Tagore House emerged as the Champions after delivering exceptional performances throughout the tournament. The team demonstrated outstanding coordination, quick passing, accurate shooting, excellent defensive strategies, and remarkable teamwork to secure the championship title.
