INTRODUCTION
The Inter-House Financial Literacy Quiz Competition for CIE Students (Classes I–V) was successfully organized by the Department of Co-Curricular Activities on 01 August 2026 (Saturday) as part of the Inter-House Activities Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The competition aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of financial literacy by introducing them to basic concepts of saving, budgeting, banking, responsible spending, and smart money management in an engaging and interactive manner.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses—Gandhi House, Raman House, Tagore House, and Vinobha House. Students demonstrated remarkable confidence, teamwork, quick thinking, and financial awareness while competing through multiple quiz rounds. The event successfully encouraged young learners to understand the value of money and make informed financial decisions from an early age.
OBJECTIVES
The Financial Literacy Quiz Competition was organized to:
Promote financial awareness among students from an early age.
Develop knowledge of saving, budgeting, banking, and money management.
Enhance logical thinking and analytical skills.
Improve decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Encourage teamwork, confidence, and communication.
Foster healthy inter-house competition and sportsmanship.
