INTRODUCTION
The Inter-House Lagori Competition for CIE Boys (Classes I–V) was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education on 18 July 2026 (Saturday) as part of the Inter-House Sports and Games Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses—Tagore House, Raman House, Gandhi House, and Vinobha House—with students competing in a spirit of enthusiasm, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The primary objective of the competition was to promote physical fitness, agility, coordination, leadership, teamwork, communication, quick decision-making, and confidence among young learners through one of India's traditional outdoor games. The tournament provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their motor skills while developing cooperation, perseverance, respect, and a healthy competitive spirit.
Throughout the competition, students displayed remarkable energy, speed, balance, coordination, and tactical awareness. Every match reflected outstanding teamwork, quick reflexes, effective communication, and determination, making the championship a memorable celebration of traditional sports and house spirit.
