OBJECTIVES

The Inter-House Shloka Recitation Competition was organized to encourage students to develop confidence, concentration, memory, pronunciation, and effective recitation skills. The competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their ability to memorize and recite shlokas with clarity, proper rhythm, expression, and discipline. It also aimed to cultivate interest in Indian cultural and traditional values, while promoting patience, stage confidence, healthy competition, and respect for fellow participants. The event further strengthened inter-house participation and house spirit, encouraging students to appreciate the importance of learning and preserving traditional knowledge through meaningful activities.

🌟 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS

Sugandhika of Vinobha House delivered an outstanding performance, securing the first position with a perfect score of 10/10. The performance reflected excellent presentation, artistry, creativity, and neatness.

Rashmika of Tagore House secured the second position with 9/10, demonstrating a strong and well-presented performance.

Aadhvik of Gandhi House secured the third position with 8/10, displaying confidence and good overall presentation.

Bhuvan B. S. of Raman House secured the fourth position with 7/10, showing enthusiasm and commendable participation.

The competition witnessed healthy participation and provided students with an encouraging platform to develop their memory, concentration, confidence, expression, and presentation skills.

CONCLUSION

The Inter-House Shloka Recitation Competition for Classes I to V was conducted successfully on 20 August 2026 in the Music Room, with enthusiastic participation from the students. The competition provided an enriching platform for students to develop memory, concentration, pronunciation, confidence, expression, and presentation skills, while also encouraging an appreciation of Indian cultural and traditional values.

Vinobha House emerged as the champion, with Sugandhika securing the first position with an impressive score of 10/10. Tagore House secured the second position, followed by Gandhi House in third place and Raman House in fourth place.

The performances demonstrated the students' enthusiasm, preparation, confidence, and willingness to participate in healthy competition. The event successfully strengthened inter-house spirit, discipline, cultural awareness, and overall personality development.
